Effective Skin Rejuvenation
The majority of our patients have demanding schedules and require efficient and effective skin rejuvenation. Skin rejuvenation incorporates innovative ways to reverse the signs of aging with the use several different treatment modalities to accomplish the patient’s goals. This process results in healthier, smoother skin.
Chemical Peels
Skin rejuvenation involves a broad spectrum of therapies from topical therapy to resurfacing procedures. Medical grade skin care products (see our facial products section) are topical and noninvasive and can accomplish several goals including: building collagen (decreasing superficial wrinkles), improving or eliminating hyperpigmentation and brown spots, hydration, exfoliation, and improving overall skin health.
Superficial rejuvenation procedures are minimally invasive therapies and commonly consist of mild chemical peels to reduce hyperpigmentation such as sun spots and melasma and build collagen.
Medium and Deep Rejuvenation procedures act to resurface and decrease deeper wrinkles as well as eliminate superficial and deeper facial blemishes. Collagen fibers proliferate after the treatment, filling in the wrinkles of the face. The patient will continue to see enhanced results over the following months due to the more invasive nature of these procedures. Today, laser therapy, chemical peels, and less frequently dermabrasion can achieve these results.
Most importantly, skin resurfacing and rejuvenation can be achieved on any area of the face whether it’s around the cheeks, chin, eyes or mouth and with little discomfort.

Healing and Downtime
With many skin rejuvenation/resurfacing procedures there is little or no downtime. Depending on the depth to which the therapy is carried, the recovery time can vary. In general, superficial treatments have less recovery time and deeper therapies have more recovery time, but also more dramatic results. Skin resurfacing/rejuvenation normally does not take long, and most patients can return to their usual activities within days. Skin rejuventation procedures can be combined with face lift surgery and midface lift surgery for synergistic results.
