Don’t Let the Vampire Facelift Suck You In!

A recent fad you may have heard of called the The Vampire Facelift® confirms that people will literally try anything to look younger. You may have seen Kim Kardashian’s “after” pictures of her recent trial with the trend and it was not a pretty sight. Achieving younger looking skin doesn’t have to be traumatic and painful!

Calling this procedure a “facelift” is very deceptive to consumers. The process involves mixing the patient’s own blood plasma with a small amount of hyaluronic acid  fillers such as Restylane and injecting it back into the face. This is categorically not a facelift in any way, shape, or form. It is simply a marketing gimmick to drive business at a costly rate for patients. Furthermore, the procedure isn’t even FDA approved.

If you’re looking to target wrinkles with injections, you will benefit more from an FDA approved filler such as Restylane or Juvederm administered by a dual board certified facial plastic surgeon.  At half the price, you won’t have to wait weeks to see results or wonder if it will actually work at all. If your aging skin is sagging and fillers aren’t doing the trick, you might want to consider a facelift performed by a qualified surgeon for long lasting results.
