The holiday season is quickly approaching! If you want to look great for family and friends you haven’t seen in a while, you might want to consider some cosmetic procedures to freshen up your face. There are lots of great options to improve wrinkles, fine lines, sun damage, and other skin issues that have little to no downtime:
Botox, Dysport & Xeomin: These similar neurotoxins are a great way to smooth crow’s feet, soften and eliminate frown lines, and lift the brows. They can take years off of an appearance and when administered by an experienced injector, still leave plenty of facial movement for expressions. Although not common, but because there may be slight bruising at the injection site, it is best to get the treatment about two weeks before an event.
Fillers: Fillers are very popular before the holiday season. They have a relatively fast recovery time and work wonders to restore volume and diminish wrinkles from the face. Fillers, such as Juvederm, can be used to fill the nasolabial folds (the parentheses around the mouth), in the cheeks to add volume, in the temples and under the eyes to fill hollow areas, and in the lips. Using the special microcannula technique, our injections provide a less painful, bruise-free option for facial fillers. Still, it is best to try and get fillers a couple of weeks before any events.
Laser Skin Resurfacing: These innovative procedures are a quick and effective way to reduce sun damage, shrink pores, even skin tone, and help with fine lines and wrinkles. Depending on your timeline, you could opt for a series of treatments (about 6), which have no downtime and should be spaced at least two weeks apart, or a more aggressive resurfacing treatment that could prevent you from normal activities for 5-7 days. We have a multi platform laser system that offers solutions for all ages and skin types.
Acid Peels: A medium depth peel is a good solution for treating moderate to severe discoloration, fine lines, and pigmentation. We offer a variety of peel options, including mild, moderate and deeper peels for various skin types and conditions. Sometimes more than one treatment is needed, but patients will see improvement after just one treatment. There are a few days of downtime with this treatment option because the skin will peel for 2-3 days.
Light Peels and Facials: These are ideal if you’re short on time and just want to cleanse and brighten your face. Glycolic acid peels and facials can give an immediate rejuvenating effect to dull skin. By using extracting techniques, exfoliation, and specialized products, patients will see fresher, revitalized skin with zero downtime.
